Rural Communities
Trail description
This trail empowers students to respond to a variety of problems plaguing rural communities
through conducting research and performing service. Students will have the opportunity
to take courses across campus relating to human issues (health care, entrepreneurship,
education, community and economic development), natural issues (natural resources,
sustainable development), and technological issues (engineering, computer science).
Students will learn about the importance of community and will have the opportunity
to take solutions discussed in the classrooms into our rural communities.
Complete 18 total credit hours across the categories
